Potrero Hill is a predominately affluent, residential neighborhood in San Francisco. It is known for its views of the San Francisco Bay and city skyline, its proximity to many destination spots, quality of weather and access to public transportation.
The neighborhood has a diverse employer base including UCSF’s Medical Center campus and will be home to Uber’s future corporate headquarters. Additional prominent employers in the neighborhood include Anchor Brewing Company, the main campus of the California Culinary Academy, Live Nation, Sega, California College of the Arts and HTC.
The hub of Potrero Hill is the 18th Street Corridor that features many trendy restaurants and bars. The corridor includes Farley’s Café, Bloom’s Saloon and the Mission Hill Saloon, which is nationally ranked as one of the best dive bars in the U.S. Additionally, the corridor features Potrero Stage, which hosts independent theater performances and community events.
